A Look Back at 1970s and 1980s Boxers

Host Harv Aronson and guest Charles Slavik recall the biggest names from the 1970s and 1980s in pro boxing. Four divisions are the focus: heavyweight, middleweights, lightweight, and featherweight. Some names that are discussed are Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas “Hitman” Hearns, and Hector Camacho among others.


Harv Aronson was born and raised in Pittsburgh but now lives in Florida with his beautiful wife Melissa. Harv currently writes for Abstract Sports, the Sports History Network, and the magazine Gridiron Greats.
